Imported seedling from Sunset Valley Orchids, USA, bred by Fred Clarke.
Magic Melody (Lc. Tokyo Magic x Lc. Melody Fair) it has great colour, we like the accents of red flares on the petal tips, the streak of yellow on the later sepals and the strong inflorescence holding 5 flowers. Mari's Magic (Lc. Mari's Song x Lc. Tokyo Magic) is one of my favourite hybrids; it has fantastic, flared flowers and a good inflorescence supporting 6 flowers. The goal here is to capitalise on the flower colours of each parent. We expect the flowers to be similar in colour to Mari’s Magic and be a bit larger with fuller segments too. The stems will carry 5-6 well arranged flowers above the foliage and the plants will be compact. All in all, this should be getting your attention.
