When breeding for flared flowers there are two species that impart the desired effect, C. intermedia v. aquinii being the most predominant followed by L. briegeri. Here we are combining the influence from both of these species. The parents for (Pot. Fantasy Circle x Slc. Candy Sparks) each have intermedia v. aquinii as ancestors and with Sacramento Gold (Pot. Little Toshie x Sl. Pole-Star) has the L. briegeri in its ancestor Pole-Star. The flower shape will be flat with yellow to gold flowers with red flaring, in addition to the spectacular flaring we are also adding sturdy stems of 3-4 flowers to the progeny. These will be very nice.
