This is a highly evolved Encyclia hybrid, it has 4 species in its makeup: phoenicea, codigera, alata, and tampense.   The parents of Cindy are (E. tampensis x E. alata) and  Cashens' Brown Sugar (E. Orchid Jungle x E. Atroniceum).  We are looking for dark-coloured flowers, yellow lips, branched inflorescence of fragrant blooms.  We have not offered a cross like this in a long time.
