Barrita Orchids
Cattleya Orchid Hybrid SVO11352 (Pot. Jane Pierce 'March Madness' x Slc. Virginia Dickey 'Diamond Orchids' AM/AOS)
Hybrid seedling plant in a 50mm tube.
Jane Pierce (Pot. Martha Clarke x Slc. Precious Katie) has unique coloured flowers, a coral-rose-red, kind of colour… and it has 4-5 flowers well displayed above the foliage. Virginia Dickey (Slc. Pink Doll x Sl. Pole-Star) flowers with 2-4 well-displayed, bright red flowers of superior form from handsome plants and blooms twice a year. Here we are looking for a new flower colour combination, expecting to see colours in coral-reds, 3-4 well displayed flowers of excellent shape from compact plants first blooming in 3” pots maturing at 8” tall.
Imported Seedling from Sunset Valley Orchids, USA. Picture shows the parent of this cross. The above description was written by Fred Clarke and details the expectation of this hybrid.
