Beaufort (S. coccinea x C. luteola) is one the most recognizable names in mini-Catt breeding. It has been used successfully in hundreds of hybrids and is dominant for shape and small plant stature. Mem. Trudi Marsh (Slc. Tangerine Jewel x Slc. Cosmic Delite) is a recent introduction to mini-Catt breeding and is responsible for most candy stripe patterning. It’s a vigorous grower and flowers twice a year. We are excited about this cross! The unmistakable charm imparted by each parent will be evident, the plants will stand 4-5” tall, all with well-rounded flowers in red to orange and many will have red veined flares on the petals.
