Hybrid seedling plant in a 50mm tube.
Jungle Elf (L. esalqueana x C. aclandiae) has 2-3 yellow flowers with red spots ‘Cheryl Lynn’ is small growing, it’s a meristem mutation, and this cultivar, due to its exceptional breeding qualities was the starting point for most all yellow and red spot breeding. Kyoguchi (Enc. aromatica x Gur. aurantiaca) ‘M. Sauno’ is also a tetraploid, it blooms with branched inflorescences holding over 60 bright-yellow fragrant flowers with yellow lips striped in red. As a hybridiser, we are always on the lookout for new directions in breeding and this is completely new territory. This might just be a unique new look. We are expecting red-spotted yellow flowers with red lips, on upright stems of 10 or more fragrant flowers.
