Hybrid seedling plant in a 50mm tube.
Pot. Cosmo-Sound
One of my favorite breeding plants is Love Sound (Blc. Bouton D'Or x L. briegeri). It imparts good flower form and colour, plant vigour, and compact growth. We are anticipating a very consistent outcome from this cross. Little Toshie 'Gold Country' (Sc. Beaufort x Blc. Toshie Aoki) flowers 2-3 times a year with superb, flat, bright yellow flowers and dark red lips, and has proven itself to be a great parent. These will be compact plants will carry 4-5 flat yellow flowers, some having petals tipped in red, with excellent shape and red lips. Check out the second picture, it’s of the first plant to bloom.
Imported Seedling from Sunset Valley Orchids, USA. Picture shows the parent of this cross. The above description was written by Fred Clarke and details the expectation of this hybrid.
