Hybrid seedling plant in a 100mm pot.
Lc. Fire Gem. With this re-make the pod parent was Aussie Sunset (Lc. Fires of Spring x C. Gene May) has a red-orange flower with a yellow splash, and the blooms are held above the foliage in a cluster of 4-6. Trick or Treat (L. Icarus x Lc. Chit Chat) produces amazing heads of 15 or more starry orange flowers. We are hoping with Aussie Sunset as the pod parent we will see a higher percentage of offspring with orange flowers with yellow flares. Plants are good growers and will produce 7-9 flowers per stem. This an excellent cross, these plants are easy to grow and bloom with nice heads of coluorful flowers in March and April.
Imported Seedling from Sunset Valley Orchids, USA. Picture shows the parents of this cross. The above description details the expectation of this hybrid.
