These are the most wonderful little plants. They are extremely prolific flowerers. Producing pendant sprays of many small flowers coloured the most beautiful pink. They readily form specimen clumps in small pots of well-draining, moist media. We grow them in styrene and water small plants very regularly.
This is the third generation of line breeding we have done here at Barrita Orchids. We select for plant vigour, improved size, shape, and colour.
Known until recently as Oncidium ornithorhynchum, a name that was incorrectly applied to this species as the result of a taxonomic mix-up.
