Chocolate Drop (C. guttata x C. aurantiaca) is one of those iconic hybrids - a good grower with great flowers. All the old-time orchid growers remember the cultivar ‘Kodama’. Our plants ‘SVO’ and ‘Volcano Queen’ are chance tetraploids from the cloning process.  The flowers will be fragrant, waxy reds with red lips in heads of 15 or more. Chocolate Drop hasn’t been available recently, so we’re doing our best to make it popular again, and this time they will be tetraploids, even nicer than the original!
