Hybrid seedling plant in a 50mm tube.
We were gifted a plant of Cattleya Spring Drum ‘Hawaii’ from Greg Bryant. Greg suggested this would be an excellent plant to have as it consistently flowers in Mid-Spring. He was spot on! It flowers every year around our Sarcday, 3rd week of October. From this selfing, we expect large, showy flowers, up to five per stem on mature plants, in shades of lavender pink.
Imported Seedling from Sunset Valley Orchids, USA. Picture shows the parent of this cross. The above description was written by Fred Clarke and details the expectation of this hybrid.
