Martha Clarke (Slc. Circle of Life x Blc. Love Sound), my wife's namesake, has two great parents. The cultivar ‘Amazing’ is one of the best, with great flower colour, shape, growth habit and ease of blooming. Lovely Elaine (Blc. Love Sound x Pot. Elaine Taylor) produces 4-5 well-supported flowers with rounded segments. It has a different and interesting colour combination: the flowers are a light red with a darker burgundy blush overlay and a dark red lip. With the cross, we are looking for a perfect combination of well-shaped and well-arranged red/orange flowers with some darker red flaring on the sepals. This one looks to have all the ingredients to achieve that goal.
