Over the years Pot. Rubescence has proven its ability to breed plants that are easy to grow and bloom with shapely flowers and dark red lips. The flowers of Star Fire (Lc. Trick or Treat x Rubescence) are deep red and produced 5-7 on a strong upright stem. The grex Rubescent Magic (Tokyo Magic x Pot. Rubescence) is consistently superb. These all have good stems with 4-5 flowers from the Tokyo Magic parent and good shape with dark lip colouration from Rubescence. When you study the breeding results from these parents and their ancestry, you realize that this cross has outstanding potential. This combination is looking to capitalize on the dominant colour and flower shape imparted by Rubescence. Tokyo Magic and Trick or Treat will assure sturdy stems, good flower count and a desirable compact plant habit. Flowers will be red with many presenting a light red flare on the petals. Really good
