Hybrid seedling plant in a 100mm pot. Near flowering size. Cross made by Fred Clarke, Sunset Valley Orchids, USA. Picture shows the parent of this cross. The following description was written by Fred and details the expectation of this hybrid. 

(Pot. Ramon De Los Santos '4 Red Balloons' x Slc. Circle of Life 'Red Halo' HCC/AOS) The fine shape and colour of Ramon De Los Santos is due to the mating of these two outstanding parents Pot. Mem. Irene Feil and Pot. Loud Nine). The ancestral background of parents that leans heavily on the influences of Soph. coccinea, L. pumila and C. dowiana.  Circle of Life (Lc. Culminant x Soph. coccinea) is an excellent breeder known for imparting wide flat petals, overall shape, and rich red colour.  Looking for outstanding flowers with this one. The flowers will be deep red, the petals will be very wide and rounded, presented 2-3 on a sturdy inflorescence.  Check out the first to bloom picture!
