‘Red Rocket’ is a great plant. It produces multiple upright spikes of up to 7 flowers from relatively compact plants. The flowers are on the smaller side, I would describe them as being intermediate. In this hybris with the famous Artur Elle ‘Essendon’, we are looking for dark bared flowers with contrasting purple/blue lips. Plants will be compact and flower twice a year. However, in our experience with ‘Red Rocket’, it tends to produce offspring that are identical to itself.
