These are deciduous plants in their dormant phase(see photo).

Melana Davison (Ctsm. denticulatum x Ctsm. Penang) ‘Foxtail’ blooms with 23-25 perfectly arranged, dark red blooms, with just bit of yellow showing through the lip. Dark Odyssey (Ctsm. Karen Armstrong x Ctsm. Darkness) has large, deep burgundy red flowers, broad flat lips with 18 to 20, well-arranged flowers. We will achieve the goal of developing dark red flower colors with this cross and in addition the lips will be flattened, with perfect arrangement and 20 flowers a blooming couple times a year.
