What beautiful plants this cross make!  The robust bulbs hold upright leaves - very handsome. The distinguished heritage in the breeding of William Farrell (Slc. Helen Veliz x Bc. Llano) is impressive, and its ancestry is a veritable who's who of cattleya breeding in the 1950's and 60's.  'Native Son' has beautiful flowers in a soft peach and the strong stems hold 5-6 well-arranged flowers above the foliage. Love Sound is a modern breeding line.  The compact plants produce upright flower spikes presenting 7-8 solid yellow flowers with very pleasing shape. This new grex will produce strong stems of well-shaped and well-arranged flowers, and best yet is the rarely seen peach colour that the flowers should display
