Hybrid seedling plant in a 50mm tube.
Pot. Memoria Alida Laboy
Ever since we flowered the first of these several years ago, I have wanted to remake this cross. Virginia Dickey (Slc. Pink Doll x Sl. Pole-Star) is a darling mini-Catt. Plants flower twice a year in 3” pots and have sturdy stems holding 2-3 bright red flowers of superior form. The shapely, solid dark red flowers and darker red lip of Rubescence (Blc. Oconee x Slc. Seagulls Apricot) will give the flowers of this hybrid excellent shape and rich red color. I think these will look like a superior Virginia Dickey with larger flowers on plants 6-8" tall. This is a proven cross and well worth having. Very Limited Stock.
Imported Seedling from Sunset Valley Orchids, USA. The picture shows the parents of this cross. The above description details the expectation of this hybrid.
