Hybrid seedling plant in a 50mm tube.
These plants will do their growing in spring March-May and the flower in late June and July finish up maturing by December and then rest the mature bulbs through winter. This growth habit makes these excellent year-round outside growers in frost free areas and in areas with freezing conditions the do well in under light as they are in the winter rest stage. The strong stems will hold 5-6 large flowers measuring in at 6-7” across, they will have a lavender/copper color and darker purple lips. These large stately looking plants will have growths that are straight up and closely spaced, these bloom mid-summer and mature plants will be show stoppers with their impressive flower size and color.
Imported Seedling from Sunset Valley Orchids, USA. Picture shows the parent of this cross. The above description details the expectation of this hybrid.
