CCtsm. Dark Odyssey (Ctsm. Karen Armstrong x Ctsm. Darkness) is a smaller-growing plant that flowers 2-3 times a season. The cultivar ‘Dark Enough’ has surprisingly large flowers with huge flat lips in a black/red/burgundy. Dark Tale (Donna Wise x Louise Clarke) ‘Black Surprise’ has flowers so dark that they’re hard to see among the dark shadows created by the leaves. Solid black Catasetum breeding has been elusive, there is tremendous potential. Will this be the perfect genetic combination?
