Hybrid seedling plant in a 50mm tube.
The parents of Mem. Evelyn Paquette are (Slc. Armonía de Sueños x Lc. Mark Jones), the cultivar ‘SVO Hot Spots’ has excellent shape, color and a flat broad magenta lip. Penny Kuroda ‘Spots’ has been around since the mid 80’s and has played an important role in breeding spotted flowers, it’s strong stems hold 14-17, white flowers potted pink with peloric pink splash with a dark magenta lip. Due to the peloric nature of Penny Kuroda we are expecting a 50% average of the progeny to have peloric flowers. The 'SVO Hot Spots' will add color and hold down the plant stature. This cross has much potential to produce a new color combination of yellow petals and sepals with burgundy spots, light yellow petals with magenta peloric splashes and lips magenta. Very cool!
Imported Seedling from Sunset Valley Orchids, USA. Picture shows the parent of this cross. The above description details the expectation of this hybrid.
